2018 Ford Mustang Has More Standard Performance Amenities Than Ever Before

It’s hard to believe that the Ford Mustang is already due for its mid-cycle refresh—a standard practice in the automotive world—but the new features, tweaked design, and upgraded performance make a strong case. But this update goes beyond keeping the Mustang competitive. For 2018, it will also boast standard features that were once only optional.

Among the most exciting features that will be compulsory across the range is line-lock, which holds the front brakes for fifteen seconds—long enough to perform some pretty awesome burnouts before launch. Once only available on the GT, it will now be found on EcoBoost-equipped models, as well. In addition, Ford has also made a limited-slip differential, remote keyless entry, LED headlamps, MyKey, and a six-speed manual transmission standard. There will also be eight packages, eleven exterior colors, five interior styles, and numerous add-ons.

The 2018 Mustang will arrive at our Ford dealership in Freehold, NJ this fall. If you’d like to learn more about it, our sales team is here to answer your questions. Get in touch, and we’ll get the ball rolling.
